Abaca is a fully circular, raffia-like material made from locally bought banana fibres. Banana sterns are a by- product of banana farming often left to rot in the soil. producing toxic emissions. Zaida Solutions buys these sterns from small scale farmers, extracting the fibres, drying them and producing Abaca. Our innovative Alter Mat is a vegan alternative to animal leather.

Do not wash or clean. Avoid scrubbing to prevent damaging the surface of the bag.
