Spring 2024 is a journey into the Lady Garden

Spring 2024 is a journey into the Lady Garden – a surrealist sanctuary where ageless Stella women can exist away from society’s expectations, free to be themselves without judgement or compromise.

Our Spring 2024 collection celebrates ageless women at every stage of their lives; a vibrant meditation on womanhood, nature and animals, as well as an homage to Stella’s American heritage and personal wardrobe. It is an escape into a safe place in nature, bringing together a likeminded community around femininity, friendship and fashion.

Committed to a more conscious future, 90% of the collection’s ready-to-wear styles are crafted from responsible materials – featuring forest-friendly viscose, GOTS-certified organic cotton and silk, regenerative cotton, recycled nylon, GRS recycled cashmere, RAS alpaca wool, recycled polyester and RWS wool from traceable sources.

The Lady Garden

The season’s hero print is a surrealist Lady Garden floral motif, hand-drawn at our London atelier. The print is rendered on halter-neck dresses in ultra-light crinkled organic chiffon and matched to pussy-bow shirts and deconstructed skirts that fall into layers, billowing with effortless movement.

Our Lady Garden floral print also appears as chiffon patches on masculine organic cotton shirting, embroidered onto jersey t-shirts and into dresses with asymmetric cape sleeves and rouleau straps.

Always rooted in nature and a love for animals

Blooming further, broderie anglaise flowers appear on airy linen-cotton dresses, masculine shirting and mini-length t-shirt dresses. Daisy jacquard is rendered all-over on forest-friendly viscose halter-neck dresses with a lingerie appeal, while floral Cornely embroidery creates sexy windows of skin – placed into woven dresses with ergonomic cut-out line panels.

Our forever-inspiration, nature, continues with a soon-to-be-iconic Stella animal print, revisited as a Woodstock-inspired pattern of kind woodland creatures in navy blue and off-white on fitted long t-shirts, flared trousers and organic cotton denim.

This inspiration takes flight with abstract jacquards: microscopic views of butterfly and moth wings are blown-up on cropped utility sets and trench coats.

Americana inspiration

Celebrating Stella’s American heritage, preppy letterman jackets showcase a new ‘S’ varsity symbol, crafted from responsibly sourced regenerative wool with Alter Mat sleeves – our butter-soft vegan alternative to animal leather.

We continue this American attitude with casual men’s shirting and crisp blue organic cotton poplin dresses. Cropped jackets are equipped with oversized cargo pockets, paired with belted trousers. Washed-out utilitarian all-in-ones in muted tangerines sit alongside cargo sets and voluminous parkas appear sun-faded, in soft shades of khaki green.

Stella’s personal archive

The collection moves into a nostalgic but new mood, pulling from Stella’s personal archive. Day-to-night corsets feature metal front fastenings, back lacing and a nod to boning. All-in-ones in organic cotton are elevated with corsetry, bursting into slouchy trousers for a new silhouette.

Summer 2023’s statement crystal cut-out trousers are revisited again and again: first as a low-rise slim tailored trouser and then again as wide-legged organic denim jeans in a pale vintage wash with a low-rise cut and gently frayed edges.

New jeans

Iconic Stella denim is made new with striking silhouettes, fresh washes and a spring-ready palette. New jeans are cut in banana shapes – a nod to the tailored trouser silhouettes from seasons past. Two-tone denim shirts and shorts in beige and cream continue the lighter aesthetic. Organic denim contrasts light washes with beige woven inserts, across boyfriend jeans and jackets.

An evening edit

For after-dark, Spring 2024’s evening edit starts with floor-length t-shirt dresses with lead-free crystal chokers and progresses into asymmetric cape-sleeved gowns in raspberry forest-friendly viscose jersey.

Moulded tuxedo dresses and men’s formal shirting are cut from contrasting organic cotton piquet and silk chiffon. Our signature evening tailoring continues with iconic Stella capes and classic smoking jackets.

Vegan bags and accessories

New vegan accessories include mirrored metallics alongside our new Frayme mini bucket bag crafted from MIRUM® – a plant-based, plastic-free and circular alternative to animal leather. Our Logo bag is revisited as a crescent mini hobo, whilst the iconic Falabella becomes a slouchy bucket style. Building on Winter 2023’s material innovations are new accessories in Appleskin™️ cruelty-free crocodile and smooth VEGEA, respectively made from apple and grape waste.

The Elsa footwear family brings newness, characterised by sculptural heels inspired by archival Stella designs – seen across pointed pumps, mules and ankle boots. The Ryder fluffy pump returns in seasonal tones and as a ballet flat, whilst the Falabella over-the-knee boot is handcrafted in a sand woven vegan suede. Evening elegances comes from a new Iconics offerings, with crystal straps and mirrored metallics on sharp stilettos.
