Many people are unaware that livestock production is responsible for 18% of global greenhouse gas emissions – more than the entire global transport sector combined. Founded by Paul, Stella and Mary McCartney, Meat Free Monday is an environmental campaign to raise awareness of the climate-changing impact of meat production and consumption. Meat Free Monday also provides a wealth of information around the health issues of eating meat, and tasty vegetarian alternatives for otherwise carnivorous diets.
