Our timeless Logo large tote bag is reimagined for High Summer in renewable iraca palm straw, handwoven and crocheted in a fair-trade and safe workshop by female artisans in Colombia – keeping traditional skills alive whilst protecting our planet for tomorrow. Iraca palm is an incredibly durable, easy-to-grow plant that supports soil health and absorbs greenhouse gasses. The luxury vegan bag is hand-finished in Italy with a Stella McCartney logo, embroidered on the front and lined with soft organic cotton.

Raffia is one of the most sustainable materials in the fashion industry. The cultivation of raffia involves only the careful hand-pruning (rather than cutting) of the raffia palm, that way our footprint on the environment remains as minimal as possible. Our raffia is pruned at a minimum of 1.2 metres, ensuring that harvesting is non-disruptive and that the health of the palm is reserved. Our recycled brass uses waste as a resource and reduces the need for mining and extraction of virgin raw materials.
