Stella McCartney celebrates the new Barcelona store

Stella McCartney was in Barcelona for a party to launch the new store in the heart of the city’s historic Paseo De Gracia. Constructed in 1900, the historic building is surrounded by the city’s renowned Art Nouveau architecture including Gaudi’s La Pedrera. To celebrate its opening, a food cart serving playful vegetarian treats such as shoestring chips in paper cones and veggie corn dogs arrived at the store together with a DJ, cocktails and, in true Catalan tradition, a human pyramid. As they climbed, Castellers carried letters, spelling out STELLA once the tower was standing.
