To celebrate the launch of the official t-shirts for Red Nose Day 2013, Stella McCartney has also designed a limited number of customised versions, finished to feel and look like a well-loved, aged t-shirt. Only 25 have been made, each is unique and features an iconic image of The Beatles, Tommy Cooper, Marilyn Monroe or Kate Moss.
On her role in this year’s campaign, Stella McCartney says, “When you buy a Red Nose Day t-shirt you are giving to a great and worthy charity. I wanted to go one step further and get really personal, so I customised a limited number of the t-shirts. They take you one step closer to an individual piece; while you’re giving a bit more to Comic Relief, you’re receiving a bit more… so it all makes perfect sense!”
