Stella McCartney dresses to appear in exhibition curated by André Leon Talley
Three dresses by Stella McCartney have been chosen by André Leon Talley for his latest exhibition, Little Black Dress. Opening at the SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Museum on 28th September, the exhibition celebrates this perennial sartorial phenomenon in a dazzling variety of forms.
“The exhibition highlights the strength of individualism” explains the US Vogue contributing editor, “Charting the evolution of the little black dress from its native definition of invariable propriety, to new and distinctly contemporary explorations of texture, tone, and silhouette.”
Look out for dresses worn by Ms Stella McCartney and Rihanna at the Met Ball, among other iconic pieces from this century and last.
Little Black Dress is at the SCAD Museum of Art, 601 Turner Blvd., Savannah, Georgia until 27th January 2013
