Stella McCartney opens her second store in Spain located in the heart of Madrid, Calle de Serrrano and the corner of Calle Zubaran in the exclusive Salamanca District. The new 370 square meter store reflects the world of Stella McCartney over 2 floors, within an intimate, personal and modern atmosphere; carrying the brand’s luxury women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, denim, sunglasses, fragrance and kids collections.
Illustrating the signature Stella McCartney store design concept, the new shop incorporates simple and natural materials combined with contrasting sculptural details. An updated feature, a concrete slab floor with integrated calacatta marble and carpet guides the customer through the store’s interior. Brass and steel linear rails with walls finished in an array of textures display
Stella’s ready-to-wear designs that famously play on masculine and feminine. Handbags including the popular Falabella are merchandised on a book matched marble shelving. For the
kids collection the sculptural brass rail installations are reworked into vibrant primary pop colours with rubber shaped ball accents to express the fun, modern and playful collection which
include “mini me” versions of styles from the women’s collections. A staircase backed by an industrial ribbed concrete wall leads to the store’s lower level featuring evening and lingerie. To complete the space, fitting rooms play on humour featuring Perspex pendants in bright colours and googly eyes.
