Celebrated for his awe-inspiring Earth From Above series of landscapes – both natural and man-made – taken from a helicopter’s eye-view, in 2009 photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand produced Home.
A 90 minute feature film that documents the diversity of the natural world, how “humans have contributed to the widespread and fundamental changes in the environment” and the long-term repercussions of these actions, Home was released on June 5th, the United Nation’s World Environment Day, and distributed for free across the internet and public television. As Arthus-Bertrand puts it, Home is “not just a film. It’s about our future.”
